The 52101 was doa. rma same day - SIG SAUER Romeo5X 1x20mm 2 MOA Red Dot Red Dot Sight

Hmmmm.... having recently turned from long time glock fanboy to Sig Sauer fanboy, I thought I'd try Sig Optics. I'm long fan of Vortex, Burris, Trijicon. I received it today, and placed the brand new battery AAA that it came with. No red dot. I tried it with another brand new duracell. NO red dot. Then a third. No red dot. At this point it's declared DOA. It's supposed to shake on and idle off for 20,000 hours on one AAA? Not sure if quality control doing their thing at Sig. Or course I feel the optics division is separate from their firearm division.

I haven't decided if I will try another sig or stay with Sightron, Burris, Vortex or Trijicon.... the price was tempting perhaps priced too good to be true. Sig is trying to dump a bad batch?
