Don't call sig customer service - SIG SAUER Alpha Stainless Steel Hunting Rifle Scope Rings

I called Sig Sauer customer service and asked what rings were best suited for the Whiskey 3 scope I just purchased to my weapon platform. I was told the Sig tactical rings in medium height. Come to find out the 30mm tactical rings dont fit the 1" tube. DUH! I ordered the alpha ring set that fit that was in the right height stated from Sig. Guess what?...WRONG! Talked to the rep at optics planet and they got me a full refund and return number and ordered the right ones in all about the same time that I could have saved $200 on GEICO. FANTASTIC! These people are always helpful and have what I need. Thanks.
