Lots of great ideas and solid execution - SIG SAUER Tango6 3-18x44 Rifle Scope, Illum. Reticle

I am pretty impressed with this scope. It is very well designed for usability.
I love that the illumination intensity dial has "off" positions between each setting.
The elevation and windage turrets are also very well designed and do everything you want them to do.
The turrets seem to track very well and match my dope.
All the controls are very solid and easy to use, even with heavy gloves on.
This is definitely a quality piece of hardware.

There are only two cons in my opinion, and these are both in comparison to my Leupold VX-6 3-18x -- which is probably not quite fair since I got this one much cheaper than the VX-6.
1. It's pretty heavy. I didn't weigh it, but it's noticeably heavier than the VX-6.
2. The glass isn't as good as the VX-6, which is most noticeable in low light. -- I know that "glass quality" is often a matter of opinion, but that is mine.

On the other hand, the turrets and all the other controls are much better than the VX-6.

If you can get this on sale like I did, it's a no-brainer.
