Tim's Review of SIG SAUER Tango6 5-30x56 Rifle Scope,MOA Milling Illum. Reticle
I recently purchased in the last 6 months a Night Force Scope for my Rem700 and its a great scope. The glass is so crisp on my Nightforce (purchased from OpticsPlanet also). When I decided to purchase another scope for my .223 naturally I was again drawn to NightForce. However I was in a local retailer recently and picked up the new rangefinder by Sig Sauer. I believe it is called a Kilo 2000. Let me just say that this rangefinder is the best one out there!! Hands down. It will provide both the exact distance for LOS & AMR (angle modified range) in seconds. As you move the rangefinder it will continue to provide both over a mile in distance. Those that shoot precision know what I am talking about. With that said my thoughts were changed on buying another Nightforce scope. Instead I researched to a great extent Sig Sauers Tango 6 scope. The electro-optics provide enhancement of sight. The glass changes with the environment and condition, making your LOS more detailed and crisp. Took a bit to figure it all out, as it is new technology. Out of the box I put it on a 34mm Nightforce dual mount and mounted it to my daniel defence MK12 .223. Headed to the range. Without bore sighting I took aim at 100 yds. I was 10 moa (1/4) down and 10 moa (1/4) right. Zeroed the rifle and Sig scope in 15 minutes brand new. The electro optic revolution is were its at. I don't work for Sig Sauer. I started with there new bullet line and it brought me here. They appear to be doing something right at Sig these days. Expensive. But you get what you paid for in this case. Cheers!
