The MC's Review of SIG SAUER XSeries 3.9in Slide Assemblies

This slide and sight combo are excellent. The optics is clear and when you're heading it, you don't notice any tint. The dot is a fine circle with no distortion. I've used it in a competition and had no issues. When I first got it, I took it off and bought the shroud for it, but or it back in with the wrong screws from a Romeo1. Eventually it feel off during shooting, hit a shooter in the forhead and chipped the top corner of the glass. It still held zero and still worked in that competition with no distortion. Dot is still a fine circle with no issues. Since it has suppressor height sights, it was still usable even though the optic jettisoned off. It's obviously not as tough as an RMR, but the slide with the optic cost almost as much as an RMR and the optic window is also bigger. You want this slide with an RMR, good luck. Go to Sigs website and buy the new optics ready slide for 350 and get an RMR and sealing plate from wherever you get them. 850 bucks later you're in business. Otherwise stick with this, the shroud is !ike fifty bucks if you want it, and you'll have a solid optic and s!ide. Use the correct screws you probably won't have a problem. Enjoy. Btw, I have a Romeo1, Romeo2,Romeo1 Pro, Romeo4h,Romeo5, Romeo8t, Eotechs, DPP, and in the same lighting conditions and level of sleepiness for me, they all look the same. The are no triangle or any of that stuff in any of those optics. If I do see something other than a circle that is consistent across all optics and that is when my eye are tired, which has been clinically diagnosed as an issue.
