Poor reticle - SIG SAUER Whiskey3 4-12x50mm Illuminated Rifle Scope

Very seldom write reviews. For clarity, i have approximately 10-15 scopes (all are either Burris or Leupold) I thought I would try this one out. I really wanted to try out this scope. I did not get far enough to mount this scope on my gun. This review is after evaluation out of the box: loved the look and feel of the scope. Nice turrets, mag adjust. Felt solid. Can’t say too much on glass as never got it in the gun or able to compare to others I own. The first thing was the unusual illuminated dot. Just the look was unusual. It was not crisp at all. Unless you were in perfect alignment the dot would not be in the center. It was off only a slight amount but very bothering. Not sure if all are this way but I didn’t want to take time to find out. I love Sig Saurer and wanted to like this scope. I would recommend looking thru one prior to purchase as my experience may not be what you find. Optics was helpful in the return process.
