The .380 ACP boresight laser will get you in the ballpark, but it is not a precision tool giving the accuracy that the accompanying instructions might suggest. In a rifle, it is probably much more accurate in alignment with the bore, but not so much in sub-compact pistols. Some of that may be due to the loose tolerances of the sub-compact pistols themselves. At 15-20 yards it will not necessarily get you with-in inches, but probably with-in a foot with my Taurus TCP!
