More than half the time I can't even see the dot because it disappears or doesn't even show up and we've noticed it seems to move some times. The last several times I've gone to the range (both indoor and outdoor) it hasn't even been visible but I'll get home or check it beforehand and it's there. I've changed the battery 2-3 times and it doesn't make a difference. It mounted well to my hellcat with no issues but that's been about the only plus
