Failed after 5 hrs of use. warranty seems worthless - SightMark Wraith 4K Mini 4-32x32 Digital Night Vision Rifle Scope

I purchased a Wraith 4K Mini in March 2022 directly from Sightmark. After seven months, or about 5 hours of use, the scope's digital optics failed, making it useless. After contacting Sightmark and describing the problems, I received a warranty return authorization with instructions to send it to Sellmark, Inc, Mansfield, Tx., for warranty repair or replacement. After two weeks I contacted Sellmark as I'd heard nothing from them. In response, I received an email stating that, yes, they had received my return, a sales order had been created, and that they would look into its status and let me know. Sounded great! As of today, nearly 9 weeks after they received my return, I've never received any additional communications from Sellmark, even though I sent them several emails within the next several weeks. I also phoned several times but was unable to speak to anyone. Their answering machine recommended email. I also contacted Sightmark and requested that if they have any influence with Sellmark that they give them a boost. Again, no response from either Sightmark or Sellmark, other than an automated response stating my request was received. After two months of receiving no response, I filed a complaint with the BBB, and as of yet, Sellmark hasn't responded. At this point I have no confidence I'll ever see the scope or my $800. again. In searching for other's reviews relating to Sellmark's customer service, I've found I'm not alone, and others have experienced similar problems with warranty returns to Sellmark. Good scope while it lasted however, which wasn't long.
