Disappointed - Sightron S-TAC 2-10x32mm Rifle Scope

I have a sightron scope, have had it for 15 years and has been a good scope. So I was excited to try this Sightron 2-10x32 model. When I received it, there was debris behind the ocular lens that could be seen at 2&3 power. Also there was blurring around the edges on 2&3 power as well. Also the resettable cap on the windage turret was stuck. Felt like I was going to break it trying to get it unstuck, finally it popped loose so I could reset to zero. This scope is made in the Philippines, with very poor quality control. I have bought 4 Philippine made scopes in the last several years, 2 vortex (1 had a bent reticle, the other wouldn't adjust), 1 Weaver that had a lens bonding flaw(they replaced that one),and this Sightron. I am done buying Philippine made scopes. My long-standing Sightron that has lasted so long is Japan made. I have a Japanese Weaver that is very good as well. From now on, I will buy optics made in Japan and US. Been disappointed too many times. I did give it 2 stars because the finish was nice and had good glass at 4 power and up.
