I ordered this threaded barrel so I could throw a suppressor on my M&P 2.0 9MM. The price was good and I was pleased with how quickly it came. I put it in and had it try it out -- did so within a week. It all works as it shoulds and as I knew it would. No complaints.

Lite primer strikes with this barrel on full size M&P 9mm
If you plan on running this barrel on an M&P 9mm gen 1 with Apex trigger, I would avoid. I have had nothing but problems with this barrel from day one. Contacted SilencerCo about problem they were no help. I have since replaced threaded barrel with StormLake and gun runs like a champ.
Easy way to add a Threaded Barrel - Looks Good too!!
Had a M&P Shield 1.0 and was told wasn't worth anything so decided to make it worth something to me. Easiest and quickest way to add a threaded barrel your Shield 1.0. As simple as swapping barrels with the factory OEM. Fit like it came from the factory this way.

Works just like the stock barrel
I currently purchased this for my Gen I M&P full size 9mm for use with a SilencerCo O36M with the piston adapter. The fitment was perfect and the gun shot perfectly with or without the suppressor. The build quality is great and is what you would expect from SilencerCo. No machining or smithing was needed.

This barrel goes pew pew, hopefully.
For the price you should get a chrome lined barrel, however, you're paying for the name. As far as quality it is of course top notch, throw a comp on this and you're good to go. Haven't shot out of it yet so no feedback there.

Great product. Shot 500 rounds through it in a weekend and worked as advertised.

Fail after fail
I purchased this to use with a suppressor on my shield. When the suppressor is attached it won’t feed properly or ejected properly. Without the suppressor it works perfectly. If you’re planning to use a suppressor avoid this barrel.
