I like the ASR mounting style over the direct thread option. It's a little expensive to buy another brake for each gun you want to transfer your Omega 36 to, but at least you're saving time not removing old muzzle brakes (now acting as thread protectors).
Nonetheless, I put this on my 9mm PCC so i can have another ASR option. The brake is easy to time since it comes with plenty of shims to buy you a half rotation.
How does it work as a brake just as a brake? Probably just fine.
