Matt S.'s Review of SilencerCo Radius Three Range Co-Aligned IR/Visible Laser Rangefinder

Consolidates the gear you need to remember/haul and super easy to use.

I've used the Burris Eliminator before which really showcased the value of having a laser rangefinder on the gun but the Radius is less expensive and more versatile.

Only other option I know of is the Wilcox Raptar which is quadruple the price.

Really like how you can mount the Radius in any orientation. Throw it on top of the scope if rail space is an issue but side mounted on an AR is my favorite configuration so far.

For all the distance I have access to, this thing is more than powerful enough to provide accurate ranges. Got it a little over 600yds currently for max range. Hopefully someday I get to push it to the 1 mile max performance.

Definitely Ruggedly built. While I don't roll down mountains with it, I don't feel the need to baby the unit.

Well worth the investment.

Only thing I could ask for improvement would be ballistic calculator but that would change the price drastically
Pros:
  • rugged
  • Versatile
  • Simple
  • one mile reflective range
Cons:
  • not sleek or slim
  • no ballistic calculator
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • Precision shooting
  • Ranging
