PD's Review of Simmons 4x20mm Volt 600 Laser Range Finder

I recently took it on a trip to Kansas deer hunting. I was able to get readings out to about 300 yards aiming at a dense cedar tree. I could not get anything longer than that. I have not tried it against a building or other structure to see if I can get longer distances.
Pros:
  • easy to use
Cons:
  • Range not what's stated
Best Used for:
  • 250 yards and under
Would Recommend: Yes
