Good for the money - Simmons 8 Point 3-9x50mm Rifle Scope

This a great scope for the price. I bought one for my Marlin 30/30 and it has held up perfectly. Very bright and clear optics. I looked at a lot of "lower priced" scopes (BSA, Tasco, etc) before choosing this one, there was no comparison. I have a Bushnell Banner on my other rifle, and they seem to be very comparable in performance. I didn't have any of the issues that the other reviewer mentioned with parallex, maybe he got a bad one or maybe user error. If there is one down side to this scope, its that the eye relief is so much (3.5 - 3.75 ") that it can make for tricky scope placement if your mounting system doesn't have a lot of adjustment range.
Pros: price, performance
Cons: not many
