A decent scope for the money, but did not seem to meet the hype that Simmons advertises. While all functions are smooth and it zeroed well on a .243 at 100 yards, it is awfully dark, I'm assuming due to mediocre light transmission. Picture is clear and sharp, though. I have a couple old Simmons that are much brighter than this new one and is surely does not compare to my Nikon and Bushnell scopes.
Pros: Fast focus eyepiece, windage/elevation screws, appearance
Cons: Is awfully dark; poor light transmission
