Very impressive - Simmons ProTarget 6-24x44 Rifle Scope

I originally bought this scope to put on a .22 lr benchrest gun as I needed more magnification but didn’t want to spend a lot of money when its sole purpose was basic. I was hesitant about the retinal because mil dot retrials usually have a thicker cross hair. However I was very pleased to find that it had a very fine crosshair. Next I played around with the side focus turret. I almost fell over when I saw how it snapped in and out of focus with zero backlash as good as scopes costing many hundreds of dollars more. I decided instantly to mount this scope on my PCP field target rifle instead as the ability to range find distance to target is the biggest obstacle. I cannot wait to start competing this year against people with their thousand dollar plus scopes with this! I will definitely be ordering more. The value and warranty make it an easy decision.
