I have the Orion version of this scope; but the sky watcher version has a 2" back and diagonal supplied!
The collumation was spot on. Out of the box I viewed Orion's Great Nebula.
The Trapezium was sharp and once the atmosphere and scope settled down I counted 6 stars!
The sharpness and color equaled my 127mm Meade apo. Background was near black (but my location is light polluted).
Sirius had no false color. The moon was waxing near 1/4 and was sharp at the limbs.
The supplied 28mm (2") lens yielded 100x .
Fit and finish is excellent; paint is speckled black with an off white trim.
It was a perfect fit for my Skyview pro mount using 2 weights. It comes with a Vixen dovetail bar.
I detected a minuscule amount of focus shift; much less than my other Mak and SCT.
This is definitely a keeper.
And; much lighter than my 6" refractor.
With both a Skywatcher sale and an Optics Planet coupon I could not resist!
:)
Pros:
Light, compact, sharp images
Cons:
Takes 20 minutes to equilibrate temp.
Best Used for:
Planetary and double stars, some deep space
Would recommend: Yes
