Smith Optics was one of the first sunglass companies to start a woodgrain line of shades. I purchased them at REI & everyone - Family, friends, and even just random people were always coming up to me to ask about the sunglasses & told me how amazing they looked on me & many people asked if they could hold them to check them out. I'm always asked if they are real wood because the woodgrain is "THAT PERFECT". Even when I'm shopping in a store I always have employees coming up to me not to ask if I need any help, but rather to ask about my sunglasses as well. I had thought at the time I should maybe make my own line of real woood sunglasses & more like the pair I have now & just didn't follow through which was a huge MISTAKE on my part. 8 years later they are some of the most popular types of sunglasses in California. I have a smaller head & nose & it's extremely hard for me to find shadees that really fit perfectly. These are the most comfortable wrap style sunglasses I have ever owned. Keeps the UV lights out 100%. Another great reason to buy Smith Optic Sunglasses is that they give you a lifetime guarantee on their lenses & they 100% stand by that. I bought my sunglasses aprx. 7-8 yrs ago & I dropped my sunglassses which scuffed one lense. I called them & they not only replaced the scuffed lense, but also put a new lense in the one that was perectly fine. They flat out go out of their way to help you out & thus, the customer service is fantastic! They also get your shades fixed and back to you very quickly. I purchased these sunglasses quite some time ago & I have ZERO REGRETS & I still wear them on a daily basis; the woodgrain design goes with all of my clothes so no need for different colored shades. I just can't say enough about how wonderful these wrap shades are!!!!
