Slide for faux-lan special - Smith & Wesson 11873 Performance Center Slide Kit NMS 9mm 4.25" Adjustable Black

Finish quality and fit is identical to my production slide. I swapped the barrel out for the Silencerco threaded barrel and TBRC comp I was running in the original slide and fit was just as precise and snug. I didn't weigh either slide, but the Performance Center is definitely lighter. I'm running a 15lb ISMI recoil spring and ejection is about 5 feet to the 4 o'clock. I'm also running a Vortex Venom, and it's just a bit too tall for a good co-witness with the stock irons on the slide. I would expect the same issue will occur with a Leupold Delta Point. However, if you're running an RMR or a Viper, you should have no issue with co-witness. I was running into about one light-strike every 10 rounds shooting Fiocci 115 grain, which I assume is due to the combo of my Apex trigger kit and the lightened striker spring that comes in the Performance Center slide. I swapped it for a production striker assembly which was 100% trouble free for the last 6000 rounds with the original slide.
