Smith and Wesson makes good quality cuffs. I have owned several pair via more than one department over the last decade, and have never worn a pair out or had a pair break.
The lever lock will make your job a little easier for sure. You don't have to fiddle with the back side of a key to lock the cuffs. Just reach down with your finger and lift the lever. They are just as secure as the old push pin and slot lock design.
Like always new cuffs are a little stiff and require break-in before use. Don't just pull them out of the box and slap them on your belt. You could end up hurting someone's wrists, which is not good for business.
Pros: Lever lock is easier and faster than push pin or slot lock.
Cons: New cuffs are stiff and require break-in.
