Great bag! - Smith & Wesson Recruit Tactical Range Bag

Although the description is inaccurate (fault of S&W) this is still a great bag. In this version the two padded handgun pockets are built into the main compartment and not zippered but deep. As far as I know they are removable and zippered with the larger version of this bag (Officer Tactical). Also, it does not have a removable ammo caddy nor a clip on nylon beverage holder. In this bag I can fit two full size original hard plastic pistol cases along with two loose pistols, one in each internal padded pocket, plus eye and ear protection all inside the main compartment with a little room left over. Additional external pockets are convenient for other stuff like a cleaning kit/tools, some ammo, first aid, snack, etc. One side of the bag has a full length zippered pocket while the other side has the two hook and loop flap closure pockets. On either end there are small zippered pockets plus a clear plastic ID pocket. The side-by-side double zipper on the main compartment allows for the bag to open wide for easy access. The strap hooks are steel, not cheap plastic. An all around well made bag.
