BP's Review of Smith & Wesson Recruit Tactical Range Bag

This is hands down the best range back I've ever owned. I hesitated buying it because it was a little pricey, or so I thought. I had just been using an old Maxpedition backpack at the time. I caved and bought it and man am I happy I did. It's super spacious, in the main compartment I keep a hard pistol case, boxes of ammo, over head ear pro, two pairs of eye pro, armorers wrench, and rolled up targets. The two compartments I keep my staple gun, staples, tools. Front and back pockets are empty except for zip ties but have extra space for whatever. And the large pocket is good for holding large capacity mags and handgun mags for transport. And there's still space left in the bag. It's very well made, the material is thick and rugged, the straps have an extra eyelet I use for clipping my Range badge on. I don't have anything bad to say about this bag, I'm really stoked I bought it.
Pros:
  • rugged
  • reliable
  • Large
  • Organizational
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Range
  • Target shooting
  • transport
