1) Fed.,State, and Post Office buildings do not allow fire arms. Lock fire arm in case, one cuff to case handle the other to car seat frame.(fire arm secured) 2) The French doors in my house have two handles, locking a cuff to each makes it impossible to pry door open quietly, most home invaders do not want to make excessive noise and work at night.(another layer of security) 3) Much easier to travel with than a lock and chain.
