Not.a.Fud's Review of Sniper Saiga 12 Quad Rail Handguards
It works for mounting optics and grips but its machining does leave a bit to be desired and it did not come with a long enough screw to replace the factory hand guard screw.
Bits of the hand guard weren’t properly finished leaving jagged metal bits that jut out causing me to cut open my hands when I try to c clamp it.
It seemed to be able to hold zero but the handguard is only held onto the gun by one screw at the bottom and by the top rail clamping down on the gas tube and screwing into the bottom handguard with small hex screws that seem very easy to strip. And with no material going into the slot on the front of the receiver this handguard doesn’t seem like it will continue to hold zero or be sturdy as I go into higher round counts.
Overall for the money this is an okay hand guard especially if you don’t want to dish out over a $100 on a handguard and optics mount but don’t expect this to be the most rugged or light hand guard.
