You can hear a pin drop, your knees creak, the pitter patter of your cat as he runs around the house on the highest setting. You can literally hear better with these on, a distant siren that you wouldnt otherwise pick up or a conversation next door. Superhuman hearing.
Super well built and robust, can definitely wear earplugs underneath without any real change in perception imo.
Downlead has nowhere to go if you dont have a proper radio but over the top but i plan on getting a radio system for it eventually.
Did come in a shitty brown box (like most government issued equipment) and I replaced the foam pads with gel cups with no issues but really dont see a huge difference in comfort, perhaps further testing is required.
