Legacy Reviewer's Review of Specter Gear Viper Sling II with webbing or MASH hook attachments

As far as purchasing Specter Gear slings, you can't go wrong. The quality of the sling is very good and durable. I installed this to my Mossberg pump shotgun and took it through a 16 hour (2-day) tactical shotgun course and it held up well through the rigors of training, firing, and general usage. If you need to unhook the shotgun/weapon system, it's as simple as just unsnapping the clips on the sling. The design of having the "male" portion attached to a weapon while the sling retains the "female" portion of the snap makes it very versatile. You can just purchase one sling and a bunch of "male" attachment sling points for each of your other shotguns, carbines, long guns and simply connect or disconnect your one sling to each "male" portion depending on whatever weapon you choose to sling and fire at the time. Overall, it is a well-made and versatile one-point sling and will be a good investment as long as your weapon is not too heavy and/or too long and as long as you're not trekking very long distances with it. Otherwise, the weapon will just be annoying swing weight.
Pros: Easy to install, well made, flexible options as far as securing weapons and disengaging weapons
Cons: best used for light and/or short-length weapons
