I have used the T2 heavy buffer (4 ounce) in several builds and have been truly impressed. There is a noticeable reduction in both felt recoil and in the noise generated in the receiver extension typically caused by standard (3 ounce) carbine buffers. The use of powdered tungsten means no annoying rattle and smoother cycling. Note, I am using these in rifles with 16 inch barrels and shooting 55 and 62 grain ammunition.
