Good buffer - Spikes Tactical Heavy Tungsten Carbine Buffer

I got this buffer paired with a jp extra power spring as an experiment, in the hopes of softening up my rifle. Bcm 16" mid leng gas. First off, this seemed well made. I replaced an H1 buffer with this. I didn't notice any bolt slap like I've heard can happen. All in all, it feels as though my rifle does shoot softer. The bcg doesn't fly back quite so forcefully anymore, and the gun doesn't seem to move as much... I'm not a big dude so that movement, though manageable doesn't get absorbed as well by my mass. I noticed a difference in maintaining my sight picture and keeping it on target. The bcg still locks back on the last shot, and brass ejects 3-330 depending on the load. I'm not going to say "Oh my god! My gun is like a brand new man and NOW I can get 7 bulls eyes in .45 seconds thanks to THIS MODIFICATION!" It's definitely not a magic pill, but I will say that my quick follow up shot practice groups have tightened up quite a bit because of the improved handling I feel, enough so to make me happy that I did this.
