Small parts were fine, even think they give you an extra detent unless I built my lower wrong and it's missing one somewhere! The pistol grip someone else described as "cheesy"... to clarify, it has no traction at all - slick polymer... and the design looks like spiders and whatnot. My advice, buy a kit that comes with a better grip. It got the job done but not ideal.
