I was very happy with my purchase upon initial inspection. I noticed a small amount of the coating in the screw holes for the RMR mount, which should have indicated that I should check the firing pin channel, but I did not. After assembly I could not get the striker to drop fully and assumed that I may have a faulty firing pin channel liner causing the assembly to bind up. After removing my channel liner, I cleaned the channel itself and found a relatively fair amount of excess coating material within the channel which was causing my issue. I cleaned it thoroughly with large cotton swaps and a wooden pick until no excess material came out (only took 2-3 swabs and 1 pick so don’t think it took hours of cleaning or anything). After removing the excess material, my striker would drop as it should every time. Very happy with the slide for the price point. Especially if you can grab it on sale.
