Rock solid mounting system! - Spuhr Rifle Scope Mount

The old saying "you get what you pay for" certainly applies to this mount. Why shooters spend thousands on a gun and optics, then "cheap out" on the scope mounting system just doesn't make sense to me. Sure there are some good scope rings that are a little less expensive, but I believe the Spuhr ISMS mounting system is worth
the extra money. With its narrow profile, scope adjustments are easily seen. The included leveling tool makes leveling your scope a snap. The bubble level on the rear of the base is a nice touch, but for these old eyes is too small to be of any use. The rail attaching screws are numbered and if torqued in sequence, removing and replacing the scope using the same sequence results in almost no zero shift. This Item is one of those "buy once, cry once' purchases.
