Hybrid spydie feel? excellence! - Spyderco Shaman Salt 3.58in Folding Knife

I have a bunch of other Spydeco knives, all the usual suspects (para2, para3, Manix, Native, etc) and they all have that signature feel: lightweight slicers with so-so ergos with stock scales, but that fit supremely well in the hand when choking up and taking advantage of the jimping and finger choil. I wasn't sure what to think of the Shaman, with its un-Spyder-like profile, so I waited for the big sale and grabbed the SALT version (go big or go home).

I love it! The contoured handles with smooth G10 (I do not care for the flat G10 you find on all the others) fit and feel great. The more traditional blade shape that incorporates the classic jimping patterns feel totally like a Spyderco and is outstanding for larger hands. Spyderco sharp and in Magnacut DLC? What else do you need?
