I use this for storing my ammo and loaded mags and have it bolted to the wall in my closet. Takes up little space and have it filled with 4 AR mags, drum mag, 3 mags for my VP9 and still room for plenty of ammo. My only complaint is that the ammo buckets I buy take up enough space I can't fit the shelf. This is not fireproof which to me is perfect for storing ammo however if you are wanting to store guns or important documents I'd look at something that is fireproof.
