Stag 15l orc upper receiver - Stag Arms AR-15 Stag 15 O.R.C. Upper Receiver

What a pleasant surprise to find this in stock at Optics Planet when they've been sold out elsewhere for so long! This upper is all Mil-Spec and is compatible with virtually any AR-15 lower. Just keep in mind that the gas block rail is approximately .270" lower than the receiver rail, so if you're going to mount a back up iron front sight you'll need a "gas block model" sight. You'll also need a left hand bolt carrier group and an operating handle, which are not included with the upper. These are available directly from Stag Arms. This upper dropped right onto my 15L lower. It functions beautifully, and is very accurate. It surprising how light the ORC upper is when compared with Stag's 15L upper with the steel A2 front sights with bayonet mount. The resulting ORC rifle is very light and handy indeed.
