Sort of ok - Steiner Tactical T1028 10x28 Roof Prism Binocular

I have had these binoculars for exactly one year. Used them often hiking and hunting . Comfortable size for hand holding in the field. Optically clear with good resolution but with middling contrast compared to other binoculars in its class. Still and all I was reasonably happy with them until they sustained a drop on a vinyl tile floor from 42 inches. After that they would not collimate yielding double images. That wasn’t a particularly hard drop for ‘tactical’ binoculars. Steiner does have a lifetime warranty but it can take 4-8 weeks to get the binocs back.

Hard to get excited about $300 binoculars that can’t take much abuse.
