Hiker in the mountains
I bought them for hiking and did not want a heavy set of binoculars around my neck! They are bright and clear making close up and relatively far away observing the landscape very enjoyable. The Steiner name, of course, means quality and they are a quality product.
Steiner Binos
Works as advertised! They are compact enough to store in your pack or console, but powerful enough to be of use, and the optical clarity is exceptional. I highly recommend them as a back up for your hunting pack or in your vehicle..

Steiners Are Tops!
I was so impressed by the Steiner binoculars I used in the Army yewars ago that I vowed then and there that if I could ever afford to buy a pair of my own I would do it. The opportunity finally arrived when I saw these 8X22 Champs advertised at OpticsPlanet.com. Although the Champs are a compact set of binoculars, that doesn't stop the quality from shining through. The optics are crystal clear, the images are razor sharp, and the focus is perfect. The Steiner standard of excellence is evident to even the most casual user. I would highly recommend these binoculars and consider their purchase money well spent!

Excellent Bino's
really nice binoculars exactly as described and they might have been demos
but they looked brand new to me. Really clear and sharp would definitely recommend
to anyone looking for a great pair of lightweight bino's.
