Nice for the price, accessories could be better - Steiner T24 Tactical 8x24 Binoculars

Very compact unit and good optic clarity for the size and price. Got these mainly for the compact size and carry. Have not tried in low light, but you would be better off with something with larger objective lens size. My biggest issue with these is the carry case. It is huge. You could literally store two of the same binoculars in this case which also holds both straps and the instruction manual. This is better termed as a storage case rather than carry case. I'd rather have a smaller form fitting padded case for carry that fits the binos when they are folded up. Also note that Steiner Germany is the brand name, not necessarily the manufacturing location. As for that, for those that wonder, keep wondering because it is not stated anywhere which makes me believe that they are "imported" (i.e. China) like everything else. For the price, that is the most likely origin of these. Note that Steiner, Burris, and Stoeger are all part of the same company.
