There is a slight delay when pressing the switches, but it is workable. I needed a small form visible and IR light and laser, and this fit the bill. It takes up slightly more space than a TLR-1 and outputs less lumens and significantly less candela. The lasers are very bright. I have had no issues yet with batteries dying from being left in the unit. The switches that come with it suck. I trimmed down the body of one plug of a Streamlight dual switch and it works great.
