The Dot is crisp, real crisp. But I found myself wanting another mounting option but there are none other than a 1911 riser. The Dot only has a few brightness settings and I found myself wantIng an even brighter setting in bright sunlight. Finally the battery life is poor compared to other similarly priced options.

Cons:
  • Not bright enough for outdoor day shooting
  • Proprietary Footprint no other mounts
