Crisp and clear - Steiner Micro Reflex Sight 1x 3 MOA

Great choice for the money. Very crisp dot and very clear glass. I use the auto intensity feature and it worked great even when the sun was 10* above my target at sunset. Dot was still crisp and strong in direct sunlight so bright that I had to squint. As this dot gets brighter, it stays small with crisp edges. CL center line of optic to top of picatinny is very low, lower than my 20mm Zeiss Z Point. I would guesstimate it is near 17mm isch making it ideal for Euro rifles with a gas piston on top like an AK with a rail. You can still get a good check weld with a low AK rail. This gets lower than the MRO with the low mount, lower than a Zeiss Z point, and has a Big window compared to those. Weight is less than 2 OZ so you don't even feel it on an already heavy piston rifle. Easy battery changes and the cover is on a tether. Very good performer and well thought out little red Dot. Costs as much as a used aimpoint that you don't know what some ape may have done to it.
