Firstly, I have experience with several of the red dot optics in this price range and they all have cons (and pros). The cons are usually at least one: feels cheap, looks cheap, or has a super blurry dot.
This red dot from STNGR has none of those and comes with a riser or low mount. I have to say, all in all the value is really good. Is it the same as what you can get for quadruple the price? No. But it is a solid red dot that looks really good, and has held up so far for me.
As with other STNGR products I have tried out, the fit and finish is pretty slick. The adjustments are pretty crisp as well. The only real con is when you have it on full power, you start to get a tiny extra ring of light around the dot which is slightly distracting. This can be solved by running it a click or two below full.
