Quality and versatility exceeded expectations - Stoney Point PoleCat Telescoping V-Yoke Expedition Monopod T2M65-VXX

So often, I've ordered something and then, found it lacking. It is nice to receive something that exceeds all my expectations. The Expedition Monopod is awesome. It couldn't be better if I had designed it myself.

Since I am 6' 1", I need the 65" length of this monopod. Fully extended, it is just the right height for supporting binoculars or a spotting scope. When retracted a few inches, it is helpful for steadying a rifle (traditional muzzleloader in my case). I also bought the optional wooden knob with compass and it is handy when the Expedition serves as a hiking staff. A Stoney Point binocular rest is next on my list.

This is a very versatile and well built piece of outdoor equipment which is well worth its modest cost. I highly recommend it.
