I have purchased a number of items from Optics Planet with various accounts over the past years and sorry to say, that I never left feedback. All the previous transactions were shipped promptly and perfect. I saw this case on the site late last week and today it is here with free shipping! Who can best this deal? I am too busy enjoying the gear to leave reviews, but this time, I had to thank the whole Optics Planet Team for everything. Just like before, the processing speed was like lightning! In these times, I am simply amazed.

This Pelican Storm im2975 is the perfect complement to my other Pelican cases. The latches open without effort and the wheels roll like a spacecraft. I decided to get this version with a bit more height, to allow placement of the plate carriers in the upright position, along with rifles lengthwise with no need for disassembly. I can easily squeeze in a 32" name brand soft padded rifle case in this case, that contains a slightly smaller rifle, mags and accessories. My NVG w/ thermal clip-on are in another Pelican Storm im2050 from Optics Planet that fits in this case, along with a im2100 with other essentials. There is still plenty of room for two of my my 1st line belt rigs, helmet, 3-Day Backpack and other items. I like the concept of filling a Pelican case, with other smaller Pelican cases and ready-to-go smaller packs. Pelican cases are a great way to keep things ready and organized.

I was also surprised today how lightweight this im2975 case is compared with the non-storm version. Before I was on the fence trying to decide which size to get for this application. I am very happy I got this im2975 case. I will definitely get more Pelican Storm cases to organize my other gear. Needless to say we are in the middle of big Storms and conflicts Worldwide as I write this brief review and these Pelican Storm cases are just what I need in these times along with the others I have purchased from Optics Planet.
