I have owned a Gen2 Glock 22 since around 1999 and while I still like the 40S&W cartridge the 9mm luger has evolved into an effective and reasonably priced round, so if being able to convert to a 9mm with a barrel and g17 magazines is of interest to you then in my experience this is a solid choice to achieve that goal. I have not put enough rounds down range to give it a five star one hundred percent reliable rating, but so far I am happy with the fit and finish of this barrel,if I were to carry this as a bet your life on sidearm I would probably change the recoil spring and extractor to g17 specs but that is very easy to do and it costs a lot less than buying a new g17.
