Will not work - Stormlake Pistol Barrel for SLK Springfield XDM 3.8 Threaded Barrel Drop-In 9mm 4.5 Inch Stainless Steel With 1/2-28 TPI 34092

I purchased this product from Storm Lake through Optics Planet. The chamfering is not correct on the top of the cartridge block, not allowing the slide to move too the rear completely. Storm Lake replaced the barrel after I contacted them, barrel #2 was the same way. I was told that Springfield had probably changed their spec's. My opinion is that the CNC program is incorrect. I read another review about the same barrel purchased from Black Ops, same problem. I have since had the barrel machined and all is fine. Plan on this extra work and expense. Whom ever is the manufacturer needs to correct this problem. I would have thought that Storm Lakes quality control would have been better rather then their BS about spec;s I discussed the problem at length prior to the first return.
