Light requires several heavy smacks to continue working after it is disabled by the recoil of a .40 pistol. I have it on a Sig Sauer P229 and the light has not functioned correctly since it was on the weapon while being fired
Pros: light weight, very bright, easy to install
Cons: Light unreliable
