This works great for mounting flashlights/weaponlights on standard plastic AR15 handguards. It will work with weaponlights from Surefire, Streamlight, Insight Technologies, and others. You can even use a scope ring with a flashlight inside it for an inexpensive solution.
Pros: Light weight, doesn't add any noticeable weight to the weapon
Cons: It is not a standard picatinny rail
