Great addition to the tlr - Streamlight Plug-in Remote Switches for TLR Weapons Mounted Tactical Flashlights

I have been using this product (along with the replacement door for the TLR which is necessary to use the pressure pad) on my patrol rifle. I have found that the proudct works well. Installation of the new TLR door is a bit of a pain becuase you have to remove the pin from the original TLR door and place the pin into the door for the pressure pad. However, the new door allows for either "constant on" or use of the pressure pad. This is very useful. In addition, the new strobe feature works with the replacement door.

One word of caution - I found that the replacement door ONLY works with the newer version of the TLR. It would not work with my older TLR as the door on the new TLR is different than the door on the older TLR. Accordingly, the pressure pad/door will not fit on the older TLR models.

Provided that you have one of the newer models of TLR, I'd highly recommend this product.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Somewhat a challenge to install
