The classic - Streamlight SL-20X Flashlight 26000 / 26120 / 26060 / 26010 SL20X Flash Light

I'm a police officer and have carried the Maglite rechargeable for years...a great light. I decided to buy the Streamlight because it's the classic full sized police flashlight. It has a very bright, evenly focused beam, is well made, great fit and finish. It's bit lighter and sleaker than the bulkier, heavier Maglite, but has the same powerful battery that holds a good charge. A great police flashlight that could double as an impact weapon in exigent circumstances. (I know in today's politically correct world you are not suposed to strike someone with a flashlight, but the reality on the street is that if you get attacked at night you probably already have your flashlight in your hand...common sense)
The only thing I might change is the lens.....it is a nice durable polycarbonate lens but it is still subject to heat. I have seen many Stinger lens melt.....and this light has a much more powerful bulb. The Maglight has a tempered glass lens. Otherwise a great light and I know officers that have had them for 20 years or more. Great company. Optics Planet has great prices and fast service!
